MCP Exam

This competency examination for the Master Citizen Planner credentialing program can be taken after the completion of the seven Michigan Citizen Planner Fundamentals of Planning and Zoning (classroom or online). this exam must be completed along with a capstone project in order to become a Master Citizen Planner. You will have 60 days from submitting the application to successfully complete the competency examination for free with a score of 70 percent or higher. If you submit the application after 60 days from completing the core series, the cost is $75. The exam consists of 40 questions and should take about an hour to complete (you have two hours to complete the exam).  Participants will have three attempts to pass the exam.
