The 2008 Citizen Planner Advanced Academy is Michigan’s premiere two-day training event designed exclusively for local planning and zoning officials. The Academy offers skill building sessions in planning, zoning, site plan review, Placemaking and community development. It also provides important case law and legislative updates, such as the 2008 New Michigan Planning Act and the 2008 Updated Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, and an excellent opportunity to improve skill level in these critical areas. The Academy is available to all Citizen Planner alumni, local officials and citizens engaged in creating vital Michigan communities. Discover the road to Michigan’s future!

Master Citizen Planners
Master Citizen Planners (MCP) attending will earn MCP continuing education units (CEUs). Those attending can earn .3 to 1.3 CEUs. Please view the conference schedule for the total CEUs that can be earned for each day or event.
